Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21, 1983) is an acclaimed American actor. Most notably, she was the character Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington from Ohio dropped out of high school in order to move in Los Angeles after her divorced parents. Her first role came to her, as Rachel's Room's main character in 2001, despite having a difficult time financially. Her portrayal of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder, in the television film Murder In Greenwich in 2002 earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost in which she acted as a principal character for the initial two seasons winning an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace wanted to focus on film following her role as Tom Welling's character, The Fog, in 2005. The role she played was Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken in 2008) as Suburban Girl as well as the Jane Austen Book Club. The role was reprised in Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). The actress also appeared in Alice on Malice in Wonderland which is the modern-day adaptation that Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played the role of Shannon for two additional episodes of Lost including the series finale. She also was a guest in the sixth series of Californication. She plays Faith as a girl who acts as a muse to the stars and catches the attention of Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She is part of Gyllenhaal's family and is the elder sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. She started her acting career when she was a teenager, playing small appearances in her father's films and appeared together with her brother in famous cult classic Donnie Darko (2001). She then appeared in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal has received acclaim from critics for her performance in the erotic romance comedy drama Secretary (2002) and in the dramatic Sherrybaby (2006) both of which earned her the Golden Globe Award nomination. In 2006, she appeared in numerous commercially successful films, such as World Trade Center. However it was her performance in the role of Rachel Dawes that brought her more attention with The Dark Knight (2008). Following her acclaimed performance as a mother who is not married on the screen in Crazy Heart (2009), she was awarded the Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. In the following years, she appeared in comedy and dramas Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Will Not Back Down (2012). She also appeared as a Secret Service Agent in White House Down, an action thriller from 2013, she was a musician on the set of Frank (2014) and The lead on The Kindergarten Teacher, a drama that was released in the year of 2018. Gyllenhaal composed and directed her first film, The Lost Daughter in 2021. The psychological drama won Best Screenplay Award from the Venice International Film Festival. The Lost Daughter was also nominated for The Academy Award of Best Adapted Screenplay.
